Because, Pink!

I'm not sure who likes pink more--my 2-year-old daughter or me. I've never been that drawn to a girly color palette in the past, but these days, I can't get enough of any shade of pink I can get my hands on! This French Connection blazer is so versatile--it would look great with an LBD or a printed dress, and as you can see, it looks killer with a pair of jeans.

If you're in the market for black pumps, I can't recommend these Sam Edelman beauties enough! They're sexy and incredibly comfortable; I could walk in them for days. I found them on a fortuitous Ross run, but luckily they're on sale on the SE website (link below).

Basic in Black

We did this shoot on a gorgeous San Francisco winter day. My outfit felt like an homage to my days in London, when black was always the predominate wardrobe choice oft the masses. I planned the outfit around this gold Whiting & Davis snake bangle that I found at a vintage store in San Mateo. It's from the 1940s and it sells at various online retailers for an exorbitant price (though occasionally I spot a deal on Etsy or Ebay). The rings are meticulously crafted by Denise Betesh, and were a gift from my oh-so-generous mother-in-law. Anyhow, the top and skirt are both Zara...I'm totally in love with the edgy fit of the mock turtleneck and the softness of it! It's quickly become a go-to on days when I want to be comfy and cozy.

Cozy Weather

We had some cold days in SF in January, so there's no better time to break out my Topshop Coat and Tory Burch boots to stay warm. Add a fuzzy sweater and chunky necklace, and voila!

Coat: Topshop; Jeans: Joie; Sweater: Forever 21; Boots: Tory Burch

Ringmaster

I wasn't too sure about this jacket when I bought it. I'm in love with the rusty orange hue, but I wondered if I looked like I should be taming lions. Instead of doubting, I decided embrace my inner circus and add some stripes for full effect. What say you?

Shoes: Joe's Lauren Pump;  Jacket (old but similar styles here); skirt (old but similar here); shirt (old but similar here); Purse: Kelsi Dagger, similar here and here
