Grecian Goddess

Here's another stunner c/o PinkBlush Maternity. Seriously, these dresses are so soft, gorgeous, and dare I say, sexy? Truly, the moment I put this dress on it transformed the way I was feeling. Carrying around an extra 30 pounds is not typically top on a woman's priority list, though of course, in this case, it's for a good cause. That being said, most days I certainly DO NOT feel like a goddess...in fact, I kind of just feel like a whale with bad skin and and a flat booty (hey, I'm just keeping in real). This is not only a maternity dress, but it's a nursing dress as well. I will be living in this dress when the SF summer finally comes in September!

Since I'm on maternity leave and had a little free time, I took a short shopping trip last week to buy some new sandals for this dress. I've busted my last two pairs of black sandals, and I literally only own two pairs of flat sandals (including these!). I accessorized with all vintage gold jewelry, simply because that's what felt right with the outfit. I did buy a new earring set at Aldo too, which I've linked below.

Don't forget to check out pinkblushmaternity.com for this dress and a zillion other beautiful items (and as I stated in my last post, you definitely do not need to be pregnant to wear these dresses!).

Thank you for reading, and hopefully I'll have some baby news for you SOON!

Objects in this photo are smaller than they appear (namely my butt; I really feel like I need to point out that it's the angle at which I'm sitting!)

Comfort in Olive Tones

I've come to realize that the pieces that get the most use in my wardrobe are the ones that make me feel comfortable and confident. In the morning (or evening before work when I'm feeling uber ambitious), I'm always reaching for the soft, stretchy pants and warm cozy sweaters. These Banana Republic pants I found on sale are now one of the pieces I reach for most often for the comfort factor. Not to mention the subtle olive tone that I am loving right now! Sadly, they are no longer available at Banana, but I've linked some equally amazing pieces below.

This DVF scarf added extra comfort and a little warmth on this particularly foggy and drizzly day, and added a splash of my favorite leopard. The blouse is Maje, and is embellished with tiny silver studs that add some glamour to the look. Paired with my Vince heels and staple leather jacket, and voila!

I am also wearing a blue sea glass LadieKatie necklace that is not linked below, but you can check out her pieces here. You can order any personalized jewelry, and all of her pieces are equally amazing!

Blossoming Maternity Maxi

Happy hump (& bump) day! I'm so excited to be writing this post..this may be my favorite look yet since launching Haute Ashbury. As most preggos can attest, some days pregnancy brings out the best in us; other days holing up in a cave feels like the only viable option to make it through one's day. This dress (courtesy of Pinkblushmaternity.com) makes me feel absolutely regal, which at 38.5 weeks is quite a feat. It's the first of 3 looks I'll be posting featuring their amazing maternity wear. In addition to being gorgeous and comfortable, most of their pieces are also completely wearable post-pregnancy (or really for anyone, any time).

On a personal note, the countdown is ON. Baby Schur is as active as can be, but thankfully I haven't seen any signs of labor just yet. I'm officially on Maternity Leave, which has been really amazing thus far. It's so nice to have time to focus on resting and prepping for baby.

As always, thanks for reading and I keep an eye out for my next couple PinkBlush Maternity looks!

xoxo

Don't forget to head over to pinkblushmaternity.com to view their fantastic maternity & non-maternity lines! Also, I've linked to my shoes and accessories below. The bag and headband are both H & M, though I couldn't find a link to the bag (it was $10!).
